Las productoras murcianas advierten de la necesidad de digitalizar el patrimonio audiovisual y muestran las últimas tecnologías para su digitalización y conservación.
El Parque Científico de Murcia acogió el el foro DIGICONTEXT 2018, con el que la Asociación de Empresarios de Producción Audiovisual de la Región de Murcia (APROMUR) se hace eco de la alerta emitida por la directora general de la UNESCO, Irina Bokova, acerca de la amenaza que se cierne sobre los viejos archivos audiovisuales debido al abandono, la descomposición química o la obsolescencia tecnológica con la enorme pérdida patrimonial que eso significaría.
Bajo el título ‘Patrimonio audiovisual: oportunidades de emprendimiento digital’, esta edición de ‘Digicontext’ se centró en las acciones necesarias para preservar el patrimonio audiovisual y las oportunidades de emprendimiento digital que surgen en torno a este segmento del mercado.
El foro fue inaugurado por el director general de patrimonio, Informática y Telecomunicaciones, Juan José Almela, y el presidente de la Asociación de Empresarios de Producción Audiovisual de la Región de Murcia (Apromur),Antonio Abril, y entre los ponentes han estado el responsable de cumplimiento normativo de EGEDA, Jesús Prieto; el director de Safe Creative, Damián Fuentes y la product manager de FlixOlé, Mercedes Serradilla.
Otro de los platos fuertes de las jornadas ha sido la mesa redonda ‘Patrimonio Audiovisual: preservación de archivos y oportunidades de desarrollo’.
Sentados a la misma estuvieron el director del Archivo General de la Región de Murcia, Rafael Fresneda; el jefe del departamento técnico de Radio Televisión Región de Murcia, Diego Lorenzo; el presidente de Televisión Murciana, Juan Francisco Zambudio y el director de marketing de Grupo Secuoya, Javier Valero.
APROMUR pretende, además, que DIGICONTEXT 2018 sea un foro abierto en el que se muestren tecnologías avanzadas para la digitalización y conservación de archivos audiovisuales, se trasladen experiencias de éxito en la digitalización y conservación de material audiovisual y se propongan líneas de acción que contribuyan a la puesta en valor de esos contenidos una vez digitalizados.
El patrimonio audiovisual engloba películas, programas de radio y televisión y grabaciones de audio y vídeo de muy diversa naturaleza. Constituye una fuente incomparable para comprender la historia del mundo y muy especialmente el siglo XX y las casi dos décadas transcurridas del siglo XXI.
DIGICONTEXT 2018 es una iniciativa de APROMUR, la Comunidad Autónoma de la Región de Murcia a través de la Fundación Integra, en el marco del emprendimiento digital, y la Entidad de Gestión de Derechos de los Productores Audiovisuales (EGEDA).
